TACKING POINT THROUGH TO SCHOOL SOCCER FINAL

Tacking Point is through to the North Coast final of the Public State School Football competition, after defeating Narranga by one goal in the semi-final at Coffs Harbour today.
Tacking Point led two goals to one at the break, with Corey Lewis and Luke Townsend finding the net.
Lewis scored again for the Port Macquarie side in the second half.
Harry O’Garey and Christian Mirindi scored for Narranga, but it wasn’t enough for the win.
Tacking Point now plays in the North Coast Final in Lismore next month.
