Police have this week appealed for information about the shooting and skinning of a bison on a property on Mardells Road at Bucca on the mid-north coast.
The owner is offering a $20,000 reward for information which leads to the arrest of those responsible.
Police have described the act as cowardly and dangerous.
It’s likely a high powered rifle was used to kill the animal, which is valued around $20,000.
