LAKE MACQUARIE BID TO HOST WORLD AIR RACE HINGES ON FUNDING

Those behind a push to bring the world Air Race Series to Lake Macquarie remain confident it will go ahead next year.

Organisers were hoping to stage the event in March, but that’s looking unlikely because of delays in securing state funding.
