BELLE VUE TO HOST BEST IN NSW COUNTRY

Armidale’s Belle Vue Oval has been confirmed as the venue for next year’s New South Wales Country Rugby Union Championships.

The New England zone was named as the host in June, but only locked in the ground at the University of New England this week.

More than 500 players are expected at the weekend-long competition, and the Lions will be hoping to build on the Under 20s Colts Shield victory on home soil.

Draws for the Championships will be made in December.
