A 25-year-old kite-surfer was pulled from the water on the Central Coast this morning, after being knocked unconscious.
The man was kite-surfing on Tuggerah Lake at Long Jetty when he got into trouble.
He was airlifted to Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital for treatment to head injuries.
It comes as the State Emergency Service warns of winds of up to 110 kilometres an hour this afternoon.
