FFA CUP KICKS OFF TONIGHT

The FFA Cup’s Round of 32 kicks off tonight with Broadmeadow hosting Heidelberg, but the competition isn’t far from the minds of Newcastle’s A-League franchise.

The Jets face Perth on August 11.

“It’s a fantastic competition for A-League clubs to break up the pre-season…It’s a comp we want to win.”

As part of their northern New South Wales tour, the Jets have been in Coffs Harbour for two days, trying to inspire a new generation.

“The Breakers were great at getting out in the community…They want to be future Jets.”
