Australia’s Matt Hall was knocked out in the Round of Eight at the latest Air Race World Championship event in Japan, beaten by home-town hero and eventual winner, Yoshi Muroya.
Earlier in the day, the 45-year-old scored an easy victory in the Round of 14, overcoming France’s Nicolas Ivanoff.
The result sees Hall move to 11th in the standings.
