ANIMAL SHELTER DESPERATE FOR BLANKETS

It’s shaping up to be a bitterly cold winter, and volunteers from Wyong’s So Cares animal shelter are calling on the community to show some generosity to the region’s unwanted cats and dogs.

The animal facility says it’s been inundated with animals in the last few weeks and is desperate for more food and blankets.

“With the amount of animals that come into the facility, and especially with it being such a cold winter, we could really use dog food, cat food, blankets, towels and stuff. We go through so much”, says Dee Walton from SoCares.

The centre is at capacity with neglected pets….anyone wanting to adopt can do so at the Charmhaven facility.
