Tamworth and Inverell’s State Emergency Services will soon be home to brand new state-of-the-art vehicles.
The $205,000 trucks are designed to respond to storm emergencies, and will feature a six metre mast with LED lights, a hydraulic generator and winch.
When they arrive in August, they’ll replace trucks that are up to 30 years old.
It’s part of a $46 million project to ensure the SES fleet is safe and well-maintained.
