Huge news for horse racing fans in regional New South Wales, with the Newcastle Jockey Club set to host a stand-alone Saturday meeting on November 16, featuring a $1-million handicap race, to be known as The Hunter.
Racing New South Wales sees the meeting as an opportunity to expand Sydney’s The Everest Carnival, targeting an attendance of around 20,000 punters at Broadmeadow.
