New England residents are being encouraged to have their say on the future of country of origin labelling.
A national survey is seeking feedback on the framework under consideration, and has received nearly 11,500 responses so far.
It’s aiming to create effective labels for Australian products, to prohibit false and misleading origin claims.
The survey can be completed on the Department of Industry and Science website until next Friday.
