A man died when a four wheel drive van, rolled on Samurai Beach, Port Stephens last night.
About 7.20pm a 22-year-old man was travelling with two passengers, aged 24 and 30, in a Mitsubishi Star Wagon 4WD.
The vehicle was travelling along the waterline when it has rolled a number of times.
The driver suffered fatal injuries, while the two passengers sustained cuts and bruising.
The group are all French Nationals.
The driver is yet to be formally identified.
