There’s good news for Tamworth’s homeowners tonight with real estate prices up six per cent.
The news came as a real estate roadshow rolled in to Tamworth to discuss how the New England market compares to Sydney.
“With a median price of $900,000 in Sydney for a house, if you’ve got a job in Tamworth why wouldn’t you come to Tamworth, where your median price is more in the range of four, $500,000.”
In the past two years home values are up 15 per cent in Tamworth, compared to 35 per cent in Sydney.
