Armidale Athletics President Jay Stone has been awarded Administrator of the Year, by the sport’s governing body in New South Wales.
Under Stone’s watch, the New England club sent six athletes to Nationals this year, the most its ever had qualify.
The recognition caps off a strong season for Stone….he won his seventh straight Australian Masters 200 metre title, and remained 400 metre champion for the fifth year running.
