STATE GOVERNMENT TO ALLOW EASIER FREIGHT ACCESS DURING HARVEST

The New South Wales Government is working with farmers to ensure the smooth transition of grain through harvest.

Produce vehicles will be granted greater access to priority grain sites through new drought recovery arrangements.

The expanded access for handlers and farmers will remain until September 30, 2021, to assist freight movements.

The announcement comes ahead of what’s expected to be the state’s biggest, and best, harvest in years.
