After last week’s successful opening, Tamworth’s Scully Park will be given a break this weekend.
The revamped venue was due to host Wests versus Norths, and Oxley against Gunnedah, but Group 4 officials and Wests decided to give the new surface time to heal.
It’s resulted in a general bye for Group 4 rugby league, with the round to be played on the first weekend of July.
Second division matches will still go ahead as planned.
