A big celebration to mark Naidoc Week in the Manning Valley has been called off, due to this morning’s wet weather.
Greater Taree City Council deemed Queen Elizabeth Park too wet for the festivities, which would have included a day of entertainment and activities.
Council is now deciding if it will postpone the event for two weeks.
