It’s not a place you want to be – on a list of the state’s most violent venues.
But Ballina’s Hotel Henry Rous has found itself there, after 13 violent incidents were recorded in the last 12 months.
The state government named and shamed the venues today – which was topped by notorious Sydney Club, the Ivy.
Overall though, drunken violence has decreased across the state, following new liquor laws implemented in Sydney CBD.
