Reigning champion the Avanti Racing Team has taken out the first leg of the Tweed’s Battle on the Border cycling race today.
The four day road racing series takes more than 100 elite cyclists from across Australia and New Zealand on a gruelling trek across almost 500 kilometres of the region’s toughest terrain…finishing today on Mount Warning.
The second leg of the race begins at Casurina tomorrow morning.
