Merewether surfer, Philippa Anderson’s run at the 1500 point World Qualifying Series event on the Gold Coast came to an end in the semi finals.
Going up against fellow Aussie, Dimity Stoyle, Anderson could only manage a four and a six.
In contrast, Stoyle posted two impressive eights to advance to the final, where she was edged out by Kirra-Belle Olsson from the Central Coast.
