The Blues rugby league squad were given a rousing civic reception in Coffs Harbour.
Players arrived in the CBD in a cavalcade of classic cars, before walking through a sea of fans to an official welcoming ceremony.
The Coffs Mayor confident the team is on track.
“We will crush Queensland and we will do it easily,” Councillor Denise Knight said.
Coach Laurie Daley then presented the city with the State of Origin Shield, which will go on display in the Coffs Central shopping centre for the rest of the week.
