We’re being told to expect to see trains running to the Newcastle Interchange over the next few weeks, with construction work ahead of schedule.
They’ll be doing practice runs to the $200- million facility before official services start on October 15.
From 2019, a brand new fleet of intercity trains will be operating, with light rail running from the interchange to Pacific Park.
