Gold Coast Suns skipper Gary Ablett has opted to undergo a shoulder reconstruction, ruling him out of the rest of the AFL season.
Ablett dislocated his shoulder during the third quarter of Saturday’s victory over Collingwood at Metricon Stadium.
It’s hoped the reconstruction will put him in good stead for the 2015 season.
