WORK ON FINAL SECTION OF PACIFIC HIGHWAY DUPLICATION TO BEGIN

Minister for the North Coast Duncan Gay has announced construction on the final section of the Pacific Highway duplication will be underway within weeks.
Contracts have already been awarded for the 26 kilometre upgrade between Woolgoolga to Glenugie, meaning 150 kilometres of the highway will be under construction in 2015.
The duplication is said to be one of the biggest transport infrastructure projects in the Southern Hemisphere, currently providing 2,200 jobs.
