A man aged in his 50’s has died while surfing at South Golden Beach this morning.
Just after 9am, an elderly couple spotted a surfboard floating near the shore.
When they went to retrieve it, they noticed it was attached to the man.
They commenced CPR, but were unable to save him.
It’s believed he had recently moved to the area.
