LABOR PLEDGES MILLIONS FOR HUNTER HOSPITALS & ROADS

The State Opposition Leader has announced millions of dollars will be spent on Hunter hospitals and roads, if Labor is elected.

Among the big spends promised at today’s Country Labor campaign launch in Singleton, $50-million for Muswellbrook Hospital to complete stage two and three of its redevelopment.

Luke Foley also pledged to build the new Lower Hunter Hospital in Maitland, while maintaining additional health resources at the existing Maitland Hospital site.

Meanwhile Mr Foley also promised the Upper Hunter will receive a share in $23-million for roads in Singleton, Muswellbrook, Gloucester and Dungog.
