MORE MONEY TO SUPPORT RURAL MENTAL HEALTH
Two New England North West support services are set to benefit from new funding to support rural mental health.
The federal government has announced $1.3-million in extra funding which will be distributed to nine organisations across New South Wales and Queensland.
It will allow Centacare New England North West and the Anglicare Northern Inland Diocese of Armidale to continue helping drought stricken farmers until June.
The new funds are on top of $14.2-million already announced in the federal government’s drought support package last year.
