ARENA GETS THE NOD

The $100-million Arena project across from Newcastle Beach has been approved by the Joint Regional Planning Panel.
The development is in two stages. Stage 1 is an eight story building comprising 55 apartments all of which have been sold.
Stage two to the north, is a 14 story building and replaces developer Keith Stronach’s plans for a 100 room hotel. 131 apartments have already been sold.
“I am excited that Arena Apartments is now fully approved and we are progressing with construction on-site. The appeal of living by the beach and enjoying the cosmopolitan lifestyle Newcastle East has to offer is a huge drawcard. It is amazing to see our great City of Newcastle finally coming back to life,” said Keith Stronach.
Arena will be built by Richard Crookes Construction, with stage 1 already underway.
