Council’s decision to open Brisbane Street during the Tamworth Country Music Festival has been criticised by the business community.
12 business owners met with council today and said the lack of atmosphere in their area of Peel Street resulted in a downturn in sales.
They’re calling for Brisbane Street to remain closed for next year’s event.
