WOY WOY PARK TO CLOSE TO PUBLIC FOR REPAIRS

Woy Woy’s Memorial Park will be closed to the public from Monday, as Gosford Council begins half-a-million dollars worth of repairs.

The northern seawall will be stabilised with new footings, while the condition of the cenotaph will be improved.

Also part of the makeover, an elevated boardwalk will be added along the water’s edge

The park will remain closed during the town’s Australia Day celebrations, but will re-open in early March ahead of the ANZAC centenary.
