Members of the mid north coast rural fire service, have travelled to South Australia to help with the bushfire crisis.
Inspector Guy Duckworth and Group Officer Bruce Blackburn – both from Wauchope – have been tasked with managing the five New South Wales teams which have been sent to the fire-ground.
They left on Sunday morning and will return home on Friday.
So far the blaze has destroyed at least 26-homes and 41-outbuildings in the Adelaide Hills.
