A 27-year-old man remains in a serious but stable condition at John Hunter Hospital, after falling five metres from a hotel balcony at Merewether.
The man was sitting on the balcony at the Prince of Wales Hotel at around eight o’clock last night, when he fell to the ground and landed on his head.
Police have reviewed CCTV footage and say no foul play was involved.
It’s understood the man was attending a private function at the time.
