Oxley Police will be out in force from midnight as part of ‘Operation Safe Arrival’.
The holiday season blitz will target drink and drug driving, speeding, as well as seatbelt and mobile phone offences.
Police are hoping to avoid a repeat of last year, when 11 people were killed on New South Wales roads.
The operation wraps up on January 4.
