A $100 million drought recovery scheme was announced by the Federal government today for farmers in New South Wales and Queensland.
It will target farm businesses in need of financial assistance as a result of severe drought conditions.
Businesses will be able to apply for loans of up to $1 million over 10 years, at a variable interest rate of 3.21 per cent.
Application guidelines will be announced in the coming weeks.
