44 junior golfers teed off this morning, with clear conditions making for a top day of play out on the green.
Coffs Harbour’s Amelia Mehmit-Grohn finished in fourth for the day.
She placed ahead of Murwillumbah’s Maddie Trew on five over.
Golfers will return to the green for day two from 8 o’clock tomorrow morning.
