Nine people, including a Wallaby player, have been charged after a protest at the Maules Creek mine site yesterday.
Former captain David Pocock was charged after locking himself on to a digger as 30 people joined the protest and blockade in the Leard State Forest.
26-year-old Pocock and local farmer Rick Laird were arrested after about 10 hours and taken to Narrabri police station.
Pocock will appear in Narrabri Local Court on Januray 14.
