A 63-year-old man has been airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in a serious condition, after being hit by a car at Gwandalan.
The incident occurred just after 9am on the corner of Quinalup and Imga Streets.
The man was transported by ambulance to a nearby helicopter and taken to John Hunter Hospital with head injuries.
