The Broadmeadow home that once belonged to Newcastle artist Lola Rose was today auctioned off, with proceeds going to the RSPCA.
The Denney Street property was left to the animal rescue organisation, following the 89-year-old’s death last year.
The hammer falling on a tad over $400,000.
