Tamworth continues to be a happy hunting ground for Scone-based mare Oh My Papa.
She came into today’s Open Handicap as favourite, after five placings from six starts in Tamworth, including two wins.
The seven year old was running fourth coming into the final bend, before jockey Blake Spriggs urged her home, edging out Kurtley by a nose.
It continues her strong form – just two weeks ago she placed second in the Muswellbrook Cup.
