A 38-year-old man has been charged with assault, over an attack on a paramedic at Carrington on Saturday.
Police allege the heavily-intoxicated man lashed out, injuring the male paramedic and threatening a female ambulance officer.
The man was arrested and taken to the Mater Hospital, where he was treated for intoxication.
More than 100 of the State’s paramedics have been assaulted since January.
