YOUNG JET TO FLY WITH OLYROOS

The upward trajectory of young Jets winger Andrew Hoole continues with his selection in the Olyroos 22 man squad that will play in an upcoming Four Nation tournament.

Hoole, a former Broadmeadow Magic product, joins 10 overseas based players and 11 others from the A-League.

The Olyroos will play Brazil, China and Korea Republic in the tournament to be held in China from the 14 to the 18th of November.

Olyroos coach Aurelio Vidmar says it’ll be a good chance to gert together ahead of the next AFC U-22 Championship campaign.

“When the opportunity came up to play three quality matches at this stage of our preparations we had no hesitation in accepting ” said Vidmar.

“It has been a while since we have been together as group and I will be using this camp to assess how everyone is progressing.”

“This will also be the first time that a number players have joined the group and it will interesting to see how they fit into the playing style.

“We want to get positives result from this tournament, but the overall goal is for all players to get used to the playing style that we want to take into the qualification campaign.” concluded Vidmar.
