WATCH OUT FOR SNAKES

Port Macquarie beach-goers are being urged to keep an eye out, after several venomous snakes were spotted at local beaches in the past few days.

Last week a brown snake was spotted coming out of a ammenities block at Flynns Beach.

Lifeguards say that snakes are common at this time of year.

Anyone who comes across a snake are asked to keep their distance and tell life guards.
