Merewether’s Philippa Anderson has finished third in the women’s final at the World Surfing Games.
Anderson was joined by fellow Aussie Jessica Grimwood in the decider.
Unfortunately the pair couldn’t overcome hometown hero Anali Gomez and Ecuador’s Dominic Barona.
The girls helped Australia finish second in the World Team Championship.
