A man has suffered head and arm injuries during a violent home invasion at Tenambit last night.
The 43-year-old was confronted by two men, wielding an axe and a meat cleaver, inside his Maize Street home at around 6:30.
The pair demanded money and assaulted the occupant, before leaving empty handed.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
