DISAPPOINTING SERIES END FOR MATT HALL

A momentary lapse in concentration has cost Merewether pilot Matt Hall dearly.

He finished a disappointing 10th in the final event of the year on the Air Race Series.

In the top 12 run, the Australian was on track to beat former world champion, Kirby Chambliss.

“Very smooth, very nice G here. He’s well ahead of Kirby as he starts down the hill.”

But an error leading into one of the last gates incurred a two second penalty, and knocked Hall out of contention.

The result saw Hall finish sixth in the championship.
