There was a sea of fluoro pink at Surfers Paradise this morning.
The Surf Life Saving Club’s nippers showed off new high-visibility safety rashies, gifted along with a trailer by the Hilton Hotel chain… which in return was made an honorary member.
“Chris, on behalf of the club I’d like to present you with your singlet, and I’d also like you to put it on.”
“This is all part of safety down on the beach and surf lifesaving.”
The gifts are part of a weeklong global initiative by Hilton to reach out to local communities.
