A 28-year-old man is in a stable condition in hospital after being stabbed at Port Macquarie.
At around 5:45pm yesterday, the man was at his Church Street home when two men kicked in the door.
It’s alleged a fight broke out and one of the men stabbed the occupant in the stomach, partially disemboweling him.
Police say the dispute was about the ownership of a dog.
It’s the third stabbing in Port Macquarie in the past three months.
