CENTRAL COAST FACES TOUGH ROLLER DERBY COMPETITION

The Central Coast Roller Derby girls have gone down to the Western Sydney Rollers, in their final bout of the Eastern Region Smackdown at Niagara Park.

The Valkyries struggled to hold back their opponents, in a fast and furious final bout.

Western Sydney took the win 226 points to 175, knocking the Central Coast back to 11th spot on the ladder.

The annual three-day tournament is the biggest of its kind on the Central Coast, involving 300 skaters from 20 leagues across New South Wales.
