An abandoned boat sparked a sea, land and air search today, after it was found washed onto rocks near Tallow Beach.
A walker stumbled upon the badly damaged vessel this morning, which is believed to have broken its moorings at Palm Beach during strong winds.
Water police and an ambulance helicopter were called to search the area for possible survivors.
Luckily no-one was on board at the time and the owners have since been identified.
