TAMWORTH RESIDENTS REMINDED OF WATER RESTRICTIONS AS DAYLIGHT SAVINGS BEGINS THIS WEEKEND

Tamworth Regional Council is reminding residents to be wary of watering the garden as the weather begins to warm up.

Currently Attunga is on level one water restrictions, while Tamworth is on level two, with hand-held hoses with trigger nozzles permitted to be used between 6 and 8pm.

Tamworth is expected to be moved to level three restrictions in the coming weeks.

Permanent water conservation measures are in place for the rest of the Tamworth region – sprinklers can be used between 6pm and 8am.
